Sat.• PRAGUE:  A morning sightseeing tour takes you to Old Town Square to view the Astrological Clock, the Jewish Ghetto, St. Nicholas Church, Charles Bridge and other interesting sights of this captivating city. DAY 4. Sun. • PRAGUE: Morning sightseeing tour takes us to the Royal Castle of Hradcany and St. Vitus Cathedral. (B)

DAY 5. Mon.• PRAGUE - VIENNA:  This morning, go south into Austria. Your destination is Vienna, the stately capital. Tonight, a typical “Heurigen” dinner awaits you in Grinzing. (B,D)

DAY 6. Tues. • VIENNA:  A morning sightseeing tour features the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and Belvedere Palace. We also view the Prater amusement park, the UN building, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city’s imperial history. This evening, you will attend a concert. (B)

DAY 7. Wed.VIENNA:  This morning, we visit the renowned Kunsthistorische Museum. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own. (B)

DAY 8. Thur.• VIENNA - BUDAPEST:  After breakfast, enjoy the views of the Austrian and Hungarian countrysides, as you leave for Budapest. Tonight enjoy a folkloric show or an opera performance. (B)

DAY 9. Fri.• BUDAPEST:  Situated on opposite banks of the Danube River, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Your morning sightseeing tour includes the main attractions: Parliament, the Coronation Church, Hero’s Square and Gellert Hill. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own, shop for local handicrafts or take an optional excursion to the picturesque surroundings. (B)

DAY 10. Sat. • BUDAPEST:  A morning sightseeing tour includes the Castle Hill area, Fisherman’s Bastion and the Royal Palace. The afternoon is free. Dinner with entertainment in a typical csarda restaurant is on tap this evening. (B,D)

On Monday, join your local guide on a stroll to the Old Town and Prague Castle, a complex of medieval royal dwellings and chapels. The quaint Bohemian countryside stretches to Cesky Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you explore the castle and old town lanes. “The pearl of Bohemia,” Cesky Krumlov has a wonderfully-preserved medieval atmosphere. Enter Austria and arrive in Vienna, following the winding blue Danube by the vineyards of the scenic Wachau Valley. On Wednesday, tour Vienna’s Imperial Hofburg Palace to see the Hapsburg Crown Jewels. Walk to St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the Opera and drive around the Ringstrasse. Visit Schonbrunn Palace to see a few of its 1411 rooms! Both Maria Theresa and Marie Antoinette lived here, and Mozart began his career in its halls. This evening, enjoy the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra performing works of Johann Strauss.
