Day 1: Overnight Flight
Your flight to Eastern Europe will depart the evening before and arrive in Europe the next day.
Day 2: Arrive Budapest
Arrive in Budapest, Hungary and be transferred by private car with English speaking assistance, to your deluxe hotel. Stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal with Breakfast daily while in Budapest.. (upgrade to Danube view room is available)
Day 3: Budapest (B)
After breakfast your choice of private guided sightseeing tour of Budapest, the “Paris of the East”, including the Royal Castle, the Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Parliament, the Heroes’ Square and the Cathedral of St.Stephen or a Jewish Heritage tour is in the itinerary, visiting Europe’s largest Synagogue and other sites of Hungary’s rich Jewish heritage. Afternoon at leisure
Day 04: Budapest sightseeing tour (B)
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast spend the day at your leisure. You might want to visit Szentendre and walk aroundthe charming main square or look for souvenirs and antiquesin the tiny boutiques. In the afternoon we suggest to visit a museum on your own. Stop for coffee and cake at the world famous “Gerbeaud” Cafe House, located at themain shopping street “Váci utca”. In the evening, a cultural performance is in the program. (Your choice of opera, operetta or classical music concert).
Day 05: Budapest to Vienna (B)
After breakfast , a driver with a private car will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Vienna. We suggest, that for tonight, plan a fun dinner in Grinzing, the famous wine growing village in the outskirts of Vienna. In Grinzing’s “Heurigen” restaurants dinner is always accompanied by “Schrammel” music, played by a quartet of instruments; two violins, an accordion and a guitar. Stay at the Ring Hotel with Breakfast daily while in Vienna.
Day 06: Vienna City Tour & Schonbrunn (B)
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast private, guided City Tour of Vienna, including the Ringstrasse, the Vienna State Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, the Museums of Fine Arts & Natural History. You will also visit the magnificent Imperial Rooms of the Schönbrunn Palace. Upon request, Jewish Heritage tour instead of the city tour. In the evening, cultural program, Mozart Concert, or a performance of the Vienna Boys’ Choir. Opera is also available - for extra charge - except in July and August.
Day 07: Vienna Free Day (B)
Today is at leisure. Perhaps, you would like to visit the countryside, the romantic Danube Valley with Melk, Durnstein and the Wachau Valley
Day 08: Vienna to Prague (B)
After buffet breakfast at your hotel, a private car with a driver will pick you up and transfer you to your deluxe hotel in Prague. The balance of the day is at leisure. Stay at the Pachtuv Palace Hotel for 3 nights with Breakfast daily.
Day 09: Prague Free Day (B)
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Your private historical city tour this morning includes the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Hradcany Castle, the Loreto Church, the Old Town Square, the Tyn Church, the Charles Bridge, the Wenceslas Square and the old Jewish Quarter. If you wish, private Jewish interest tour will take you to see the rich Jewish past of the city. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 10: Prague sightseeing tour (B)
Full day at leisure. After buffet breakfast at your hotel, you might want to visit a couple of the famous Bohemian Castles. First , the Karlstejn Castle, built in the 14th century. Continue to the former hunting lodge Konopiste, with a fascinating collection of historical weapons, furnishings, late Gothic paintings, tapestries & hunting trophies. Return to Prague in the late afternoon hours. For tonight, a cultural program is in your itinerary. Enjoy an opera, ballet or classical music concert
Day 11: Prague - Home
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast private car with a driver will take you to the airport. End of your hosted tour. You can extend your stay to include more cities in Eastern Europe/Central Europe.
