Day to day Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight flight to Munich.

Day 2 - Arrive Munich
Welcome to Munich, capital of Bavaria. After check-in to your hotel enjoy an included orientation tour featuring the Olympic Stadium and Marienplatz with its Glockenspiel clock. This evening you are invited for a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.TF. Hilton City  (B, D)

Day 3 - Munich - Regensburg - Prague (2 nights)
See the historic town of Regensburg on your way to the Czech Republic. Across the border, see Pilsen, renowned for its breweries, before reaching Prague. This exciting city is your home for the next two nights! Crown Plaza Prague (B,D)

Day 4 - Prague Sightseeing and Free time.
Prague has prospered since the fall of Communism, and its new-found status and affluence is evident during your guided sightseeing tour of the city. Explore the impressive St. Vitus’ Cathedral in the grounds of the 1,000 year-old Prague Castle. Cross the river to the Old Town Square to see the Astronomical Clock. Spend the afternoon as you wish. Explore the city on your own, or consider a relaxing lunch cruise on the River Vltava. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant.  (B, D)

Day 5 - Prague - Bratislava - Budapest (2 nights)
View the ancient city of Bratislava, capital of the Slovak Republic. Entering Hungary you arrive in Budapest on the banks of the River Danube. Ramada Plaza (B)

Day 6 - Budapest Sightseeing and at Leisure
Your Local Guide gives you a deep historical insight into Budapest during your included sightseeing tour of the city. From Fisherman’s Bastion enjoy superb views across the Parliament and the Danube. Spend time sightseeing on your own. Consider an excursion to Old Hungary or a guided tour of Parliament. Tonight, experience a memorable Be My Guest Hungarian dinner.  (B & Be my guest for dinner)

Day 7 - Budapest -Gyor - Vienna (2 nights)
Crossing the Transdanubia region to Györ is a pleasant drive through beautiful countryside. Stroll through this quaint city, which stands at the confluence of three rivers and features charming Baroque architecture. Later arrive in imperial Vienna where you stay for the next two nights. Hilton Danube. (B)

Day 8 - Vienna sightseeing and at Leisure
Admire the Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the Hapsburg Dynasty during your enthralling sightseeing tour of Vienna with your expert Local Guide. See the grand State Opera House, and the Ringstrasse, a beautiful sweeping boulevard built in the 19th century to replace the city walls. See St. Stephen’s Cathedral, its ornate roof bearing the imperial emblem of the Hapsburgs. The afternoon is yours to explore the city’s many attractions. Later, you might like to attend a classical concert.  (B)

Day 9 - Vienna - Salzburg
Following the Danube Valley pass the impressive Benedictine monastery at Melk, and travel through Linz to Salzburg. See the Mirabell Gardens, Cathedral Square and Mozart’s birthplace with your expert Local Guide. Day 10 - Salzburg - Munich
Today travel to the lively Bavarian capital, Munich. This evening, join your companions and your Tour Director for a Farewell Dinner to celebrate the end of your travellers. Hilton Munich City. (B, D)

Day 11 - Munich - USA
Say ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to Germany, your fellow travelers and Tour Director at the end of your exhilarating European experience! Transfer to Munich airport are available, conditions apply. Important Visa Information Visas may be required for certain countries on this tour and can be obtained by your Travel Agent for a fee, prior to leaving home. Separate visas may be needed for the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Visas cannot be issued at borders in Europe.   (B)
