Day 1: LAX to Auckland.
Depart Lax for Auckland New Zealand where you will cross the International date line and arrive in Auckland on Day 3.
Day 3. Arrive Auckland:
Pick up your car rental at the Auckland airport and drive to your hotel.. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore this exciting City of Sails as you please. Stay: Auckland - Kingsgate Parnell (Standard), Skycity Hotel (First-Class), Crowne Plaza Hotel (Deluxe).
Day 4. Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua:
Journey to the Waitomo Caves. Travel to the geothermal and Maori cultural capital of Rotorua, where you will enjoy a fascinating Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance this evening. Two Night Stay: Rotorua -Ibis Hotel (Standard), Heritage Hotel (First-Class), Millennium Hotel (Deluxe). Bx1
Day 5. Rotorua Sightseeing:
Rotorua is New Zealand’s oldest and best known thermal resort, where generations of visitors have enjoyed its waters, marvelled at its fascinating geothermal activity and experienced the region's Maori culture. Rotorua was settled by the Te Arawa iwi people and the lakeshore was a prominent site of skirmishes during New Zealand's Maori wars of the 1860s. Bx1. AP
Day 6. Rotorua to Queenstown flight:
Drop off car rental at Rotorua for your flight to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown (airfare not included). Rest of the day is free to explore this wonderful city. Three Night Stay: Queenstown -Goldridge Hotel (Standard), Novotel Gardens Hotel (First-Class), Hotel Sofitel (Deluxe). Bx1
Day 7. Milford Sound Lake Cruise. Coach tour:
Travel to Fiordland National Park for a memorable cruise on Milford Sound. Cruise beneath waterfalls, cliffs, dense rain forest, mountains and famous Mitre Peak. Milford Sound runs nine miles inland from the Tasman Sea and is surrounded by sheer rock faces that rise 3,930 feet on either side. Lush greenery clings precariously to these cliffs, while seals, penguins and dolphins frequent the waters below. This afternoon return to Queenstown. Bx1 Lx1
Day 8. At Leisure in Queenstown :
Enjoy a day exploring at leisure the many and varied attractions of Queenstown, located on the shores of the grand Lake Wakatipu and in the shadow of the Remarkables mountain range. Bx1
Day 9. Queenstown, Mt Cook, Christchurch :
On the way to beautiful Mt Cook National Park, stop and take in the tranquil waters of Lake Tekapo. Here, visit the tiny stone Church of the Good Shepherd perched on the water’s edge. Later, cross the vast patchwork farmlands of the Canterbury Plains as you travel towards the distinctly English city of Christchurch.
